Edward B. DeSeta Admiral Farragut Academy Scholarship

In September of 2024, Mr. Edward B. DeSeta announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the endowed Edward B. DeSeta Admiral Farragut Academy Scholarship. The primary purpose of the Edward B. DeSeta Admiral Farragut Academy Scholarship is to provide financial resources through the annual net income of such scholarship to support students attending The Citadel who are graduates of Admiral Farragut Academy, in St. Petersburg, Florida, who request to receive financial aid to attend The Citadel. In years in which there are no qualified students enrolled who meet the above criteria, the scholarship will be available to students attending The Citadel whose major falls within the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics or business (with a preference for those students with a concentration in real estate or finance). In the event no students enrolled meet either of the above criteria, the scholarship will be available to any student attending The Citadel.
