Anderson Family Nursing Scholarship

In November of 2024, Mr. Ruric C. Anderson, ’65, announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the endowed Anderson Family Nursing Scholarship in memory of Harriet Spruill Anderson and in honor of Theresa Haggerty Anderson. The primary purpose of the Anderson Family Nursing Scholarship is to provide financial resources to support cadets who are majoring in nursing and who maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA or greater. In years in which no cadet is enrolled who qualifies for the scholarship, the award shall be available to any student majoring in nursing, to include veteran, active duty, and evening undergraduate students, who maintain a cumulative 2.5 GPA or greater.
