Lexington Lown Term Scholarship

In February of 2014, the Lexington Citadel Club announced to The Citadel Foundation its intention to establish the Lexington Lown Term Scholarship. Previously, the club had sent care packages to deployed service members; however, with the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan winding down, its members have decided to repurpose their effort by funding an annual scholarship for a cadet from Lexington County, South Carolina. The purpose of this non-endowed gift is to provide funds to support a student from Lexington County, South Carolina who is in need of financial assistance to continue his or her Citadel education.
