Charleston Marine Containers, Inc., Scholarship

The purpose of the Charleston Marine Containers, Inc. Scholarship is to provide funds for an annual scholarship award of $2,500 presented annually to a rising junior majoring in business administration and to provide a $2,500 stipend to support a summer internship with Charleston Marine Containers, Inc. during the summer between the junior and senior years at The Citadel. The Scholarship shall be renewable for the senior year if the recipient maintains at least a 2.5 GPA. If the recipient does not qualify for renewal for the senior year, The Citadel will not select an additional recipient. This scholarship is designed to have one junior and one senior recipient each academic year beginning with the 2003-2004 academic year. Funds that may be unused due to a failure of a recipient to qualify for the senior year may be used to provide additional summer intern opportunities as The Citadel and Charleston Marine Containers may agree.
