Captain Joe Wofford Eubanks Memorial Scholarship

The Captain Joe Wofford Eubanks Memorial Scholarship was initiated in 1976 as the result of a contribution from his parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Eubanks. The fund was named in memory of Captain Joe Wofford Eubanks, The Citadel Class of 1969, who gave his life in service of his country in Vietnam. Scholarships are available to history majors with out-of-state residence who possess attributes in accord with the high standards of The Citadel. The first award was made in 1977.
