ohn P. Wilson and William R. Risher Scholarship

Initiated in 1985 as the result of contributions from family and friends, the fund is named in memory of Mr. John P. Wilson and Col. William R. Risher, The Citadel Class of 1947. Mr. Wilson was the father-in-law of Colonel Risher, a former chairman of the Board of Visitors. Recipients should be from South Carolina, demonstrate financial need and maintain at least a 2.5 GPA. First award was made in 1998.
