Lillian Malone & son Edgar Stanton Alexander Scholarship

The Lillian Malone Alexander and Edgar Stanton Alexander Scholarship was initiated in 1974 as the result of contributions from General Thomas L. Alexander, The Citadel Class of 1915, and Dietrich Biemann Alexander, The Citadel Class of 1922, children of Lillian Malone Alexander. The scholarship is in memory of the donor’ mother and brother. Scholarships are available to any cadet whose residence is Greenwood County, South Carolina, including athletes. The first award was made in 1978.
