Frank W. Cayce, III, Scholarship

The Frank W. Cayce, III, Scholarship was initiated in 1965 as the result of the bequest of his grandmother, Mrs. Zulale J. Dowlin. The fund is named in memory of Frank W. Cayce, III, The Class of 1963, who lost his life while representing The Citadel on the Parachute Team. Scholarships are available to incoming freshmen on the basis of scholastics, extracurricular activities, and personal characteristics. Preference is given to students in need of financial aid. The first award was made in 1969.
