Renie Clark Scholarship

The Renie Clark Scholarship was initiated in 1966 as the result of contributions from General Mark W. Clark, friends, and family, the fund is named in honor of Mrs. Renie Clark who was First Lady of The Citadel for more than 11 years. Scholarships are available to cadets who possess attributes in accord with the high standards of The Citadel. Preference is given to a rising senior who has had an outstanding record at The Citadel and is in financial need. The first award was made in 1967.
