Dr. Robert Russell Jeter & John Randolph Jeter Scholarship

The Doctor Robert Russell Jeter and John Randolph Jeter Scholarship was initiated in 1986 as the result of a contribution from John Jeter, The Citadel Class of 1925. The scholarship is named in memory of his father, Dr. Robert Russell Jeter, The Citadel Class of 1887, and his nephew, John Randolph Jeter, who was killed in an automobile accident at the end of his junior year. Scholarships are available to cadets who possess attributes in accord with the high standards of The Citadel. Scholarships are to be divided equally among pre-medical students and intercollegiate football athletes. The first award was made in 1988.
