Michael J. Worthy Memorial Scholarship

The Michael J. Worthy Memorial Scholarship was initiated in 1977 as the result of contributions from Mr. and Mrs. Fred L. Worthy, the fund is named in memory of Michael J. Worthy, a prospective Citadel student who died in 1977. Scholarships are available to cadets of American-Indian descent who possess attributes in accord with the high standards of The Citadel. The first award was made in 1979.
