Fred J. Attaway, III, Scholarship

The Fred J. Attaway, III, Scholarship was initiated in 1974 as the result of contributions from parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Attaway, Jr., friends, and family members of Fred J. Attaway III. The fund is named in memory of Fred J. Attaway III, Class of 1972. Scholarships are available to cadets who possess attributes in accord with the high standards of The Citadel. The first award was made in 1978.
