William W. Cone Scholarship

The William W. Cone Scholarship was initiated in 1991 as the result of contributions from the family of William Walter Cone. The fund is named in memory of William Walter Cone, The Citadel Class of 1924. Scholarships are available to cadets who possess attributes in accord with the high standards of The Citadel. Preference is given to Saluda County, South Carolina residents. The first award was made in 1994.
