Robert Frank Freeman and Robert Frank Freeman, Jr., Scholarship
The Robert Frank Freeman and Robert Frank Freeman, Jr., Scholarship was established in 1994 by Elizabeth Freeman in memory of her husband, a graduate of The Citadel Class of 1940, and her son who died in 1963 at the age of 16. The recipient should have those attributes of ability, character, temperament, and personality that are in accord with traditionally high standards of The Citadel, with preference given to a young man from the South. The first award was made in 1998.
