Harold Benjamin Grimes, Jr., and William C. Grimes Scholarship

The Harold Benjamin Grimes, Jr., and William C. Grimes Scholarship was established in 2005 through a bequest made by Mrs. Lorie C. Grimes. The fund is named in memory of her son, Harold B. Grimes, Jr., The Citadel Class of 1960, and in honor of her remaining son, William C. Grimes, The Citadel Class of 1961. The purpose of the fund is to provide support for deserving students participating in The Citadel Band or majoring in civil engineering. The first award was made in 2009.
