Benjamin W. Ingram, Jr., Class of 1940, Scholarship

The Benjamin W. Ingram, Jr., Class of 1940, Scholarship was established in 2000 by Mr. and Mrs. T. F. Brodie, II, The Citadel Class of 1969, and the Charles Ingram Lumber Co. The scholarship is named in memory of Benjamin W. Ingram, Jr., The Citadel Class of 1940, Mrs. Brodie’s father. The scholarship award recipient will be an incoming freshman with first preference for a civil and environmental engineering major. The scholarship award will be renewed for each of four years, provided the cadet’s record at The Citadel reflects high standards. The first award was made in 2004.
