George C. James Scholarship

The George C. James Scholarship Established in 1999, as a result of contributions by his widow, family and friends. George C. James, The Citadel Class of 1949, a recipient of the Willson Ring and former Chairman of The Citadel Board of Visitors. First preference for awards from this scholarship will be given to graduates of Wilson Hall School, Sumter, South Carolina. Second preference will be given to graduates of Clarendon Hall, Summerton, South Carolina. The first award was made in 2004.
