Brian Crayton Martin Scholarship

The Brian Crayton Martin Scholarship was established by a gift from the Martin family. Brian, who lived in Columbia, South Carolina, graduated from The Citadel in 1993 and was killed in an auto accident on February 18, 1996. Brian had three brothers who also graduated from The Citadel. In addition to the usual qualifications, the scholarship recipient should be a resident of South Carolina with demonstrated financial need. Preference should be given to the issue of Brian Martin’s siblings should they chose to attend The Citadel. The first award was made in 1999.
