CDR Michael D. Sheahan, '89, Memorial Scholarship

The CDR Michael D. Sheahan, ’89, Memorial Scholarship was established in 2008 by COL and Mrs. John K. Holsonback, The Citadel Class of 1959. The scholarship is named in memory of CDR Michael D. Sheahan, The Citadel Class of 1989, and a family friend of the Holsonbacks. CDR Sheahan lost his life in a helicopter crash in May of 2007. The purpose of the endowment is to provide supplemental funds for ROTC scholarship cadets. The first award will be made in 2013.
