Richard W. Simpson, III, Scholarship

The Richard W. Simpson, III, Scholarship was established in 1996 in honor of Richard W. (Daddy Dog) Simpson, III, The Citadel Class of 1933, by the Charlotte Area Citadel Club and Citadel alumni residing in North Carolina. The recipient should attain at least a 2.5 GPA and be a resident of one of the following North Carolina counties: Mecklenburg, Gaston, Union, Cabarrus, or Lincoln; or of the following South Carolina counties: York or Lancaster. The first award was made in 2000.
