Janet S. Twitty Scholarship

The Janet S. Twitty Scholarship was established in 1991 by a gift from AVTEX Commercial Properties, Inc., and friends in honor of Mrs. Janet S. Twitty, wife of William C. Twitty, Jr., The Citadel Class of 1969. The recipient of the scholarship shall possess those attributes of ability, character, temperament, and personality that are in accord with traditionally high standards of The Citadel and meet the following criteria: be enrolled in a course of study leading to a degree in business administration; and exhibit the need for financial assistance. Preference shall be given to female cadet(s). The first award was made in 1993.
