Dante Rovere, '23, Academic and Military Service Term Scholarship

In July of 2022, Ms. Diane Biagianti announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the non-endowed Dante Rovere, ’23, Academic and Military Service Term Scholarship. The primary purpose of the non-endowed Dante Rovere, ’23, Academic and Military Service Term Scholarship is to provide financial resources to support female cadets who have a cumulative average GPA of 3.0; who have demonstrated financial need; and who have a military contract or a military scholarship, with plans to commission into a branch of the U.S. military upon graduation. First preference shall be given to those who are not a resident of South Carolina. In years in which no female cadet meets the first geographic preference, the scholarship shall be available to a female cadet who meets the first set of criteria regardless of state of residence. Finally, in years in which no female cadet meets the preferred criteria, the scholarship shall be available to any cadet with demonstrated financial need; and who has a military contract or a military scholarship, with plans to commission into a branch of the U.S. military upon graduation.
