Tello Vasquez, '01, Memorial Scholarship

The Tello Vasquez, ‘01, Memorial Scholarship was initiated in 2007 by Christopher Houston, The Citadel Class of 2003, and Hal Cobb, The Citadel Class of 1992. In May of 2010, Candice Vasquez, Tello’s widow, was designated as representative of the fund. The purpose of the scholarship is to provide funds to support a cadet with demonstrated financial need with a minimum 3.0 GPA, with first preference going to a cadet from Golf Company. The first award was made in 2013.
