Amy and Brian Young, '89, Term Scholarship

In November of 2024, Mr. and Mrs. Brian D. Young, ’89, announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the non-endowed Amy and Brian Young, ’89, Term Scholarship. The primary purpose of the non-endowed Amy and Brian Young, ’89, Term Scholarship is to provide financial resources to support female cadets from North Carolina who have demonstrated financial need. In years in which no student meets the above criteria, the scholarship shall be available to cadets from North Carolina who have demonstrated financial need. In years in which no students are identified who meet either of the above criteria, the award shall be available to any female cadet who has demonstrated financial need. In addition, the award shall only be available to cadets who are sophomores, juniors, or seniors.
