Class of 1967 Memorial Scholarship

Established in 1982, the Class of 1967 Memorial Scholarship fund was initiated in November 1977 by class members to mark the occasion of their 10th reunion and in memory of their deceased classmates. Each year as many full scholarships (registration, tuition, college and athletic fees, and auxiliary fees) shall be awarded as there are funds available. The fund should award an annual scholarship each year to a cadet (or cadets if enough funds are available for more than one full scholarship) believed to possess those attributes of ability, character, temperament, and personality that are in accord with the traditionally high standards of The Citadel. The following order of preference should be followed: 1.) The descendent of a deceased member of the Class of 1967; 2.) The descendant of a living member of the Class of 1967; 3.) The descendant of a deceased member of any class; 4.) The descendant of a living member of any class; 5.) A qualified applicant.
