Class of 1944 Citadel Scholar Scholarship

Established in 1994, the Class of 1944 Citadel Scholar Scholarship fund was initiated to fund an outstanding out-of-state student who meets The Citadel’s criteria and procedures for selecting Citadel Scholars. Each Citadel Scholar receives a four-year, full-tuition award that includes all uniform and book expenses. Selection for the college’s most comprehensive and competitive scholarship program is based upon merit. Prospective freshman candidates will be invited to campus for a scholarship competition, including an interview with the Faculty Scholarship Committee. The scholarship is renewable for four years as long as the cadet continues to meet the eligibility requirements.
