Class of 1984 Scholarship

In March of 2023, The Citadel Class of 1984 announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the endowed Class of 1984 Scholarship. The primary purpose of the Class of 1984 Scholarship is to provide financial resources to support cadets attending The Citadel, with first preference given to relatives of graduates of The Citadel Class of 1984 who would not, in the absence of assistance, be financially able to graduate from The Citadel. In years in which no cadet meets the first preference, the award shall be available to cadets who would not be able to graduate from The Citadel in the absence of financial assistance, irrespective of a familial relationship with a member of the Class of 1984. In years in which no cadet meets either of the first two preferences, the award shall be available to cadets who are relatives of a graduate of The Citadel Class of 1984, irrespective of financial need.
