Class of 1955 Citadel Scholar Scholarship

In June of 2006, LTC Frank Radspinner, Jr. Ret., ’55 (now deceased) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for the Class of 1955 to raise funds for an endowed scholarship in honor of the Class of 1955. In February of 2012, Russell J. Parker, Sr., Class President of the Class of 1955, on behalf of the members of the Class of 1955, requested to The Citadel Foundation to establish the Class of 1955 Scholarship pursuant to the former Memorandum of Understanding. The primary purpose of this endowment is to provide funds to support a scholarship award(s) to a cadet(s) believed to possess those attributes of ability, character, temperament, and personality that are in accord with the traditionally high standards of The Citadel.
