Colonel James L. "Bo" Merchant, III, '84, Scholarship

In 2009, Robert Merchant and his father, James L. Merchant, approached The Citadel Foundation to announce their intention to establish an endowed scholarship in memory of COL James L. “Bo” Merchant, III, ’84. Scholarship award preference will be for a junior or senior cadet with a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5, serving in a Corps of Cadets leadership position and who is a U.S. citizen pursuing a commission for the U.S. Military.
