Helen Zabawa Pinarchick & Joseph John Pinarchick Scholarship

In November of 2004, Joseph F. Pinarchick announced to The Citadel Trust, Inc. his intention to fund The Helen Zabawa Pinarchick and Joseph John Pinarchick Scholarship fund. The purpose of this endowment is to provide scholarship funds with the following preferences: 1.) the first preference is for an outstanding, well-rounded junior or senior undergraduate cadet(s) in good standing who meet(s) the cadet physical fitness requirements. The cadet must have financial need and must be an out-of-state resident and a U.S. (or U.S. territory) born or naturalized citizen. Cadet(s) cannot have any other scholarship totaling $7,000 or more to qualify; 2.) the cadet(s) must have a GPA of 2.85 or better. 3.) the cadet(s) must be an active member of cadet club or charitable activity on or off campus; 4.) the cadet(s) must not have an athletic scholarship in a major sport. However, in the case of a tie, preference may be given to a cadet(s), without a scholarship, who participates in an organized team sport other than football, basketball, or baseball.
