Swain Nursing Program Scholarship

The primary purpose of the Swain Department of Nursing Scholarship is to provide funds to support undergraduate, graduate, and/or veteran nursing students, with a strong consideration for students demonstrating financial need. Initially, the fund will provide four (4) scholarships, with the opportunity for additional scholarships to be awarded as the fund balance increases. The Dean of the Swain Family School of Science and Mathematics and/or the Head of the Swain Department of Nursing will make recommendations for qualified candidates to the college’s Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships based on criteria that recognize academic merit and the desire to enhance diversity and educational access to underrepresented groups.
