Dr. and Mrs. William B. Jones, '50, Scholarship for Pre-Medicine

In March of 2020, Mrs. Ann O. Jones, widow of Dr. William B. Jones, ’50, announced to The Citadel Foundation her intention to establish the endowed Dr. and Mrs. William B. Jones, ’50, Scholarship for Pre-Medicine. The primary purpose of the Dr. and Mrs. William B. Jones, ’50, Scholarship for Pre-Medicine is to provide funds to support up to but no more than two (2) cadets who are juniors or seniors with demonstrated financial need, and who are planning to pursue a career as a medical doctor regardless of their major.
