In July of 2021, LtCol Matthew J. Kutilek, USMC, Ret., ’01, announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the non-endowed Deputy Sheriff Andrew J. Mazur, ’01, Golf Company, Memorial Scholarship. The primary purpose of the non-endowed Deputy Sheriff Andrew J. Mazur, ’01, Golf Company, Memorial Scholarship is to provide financial resources for a cadet majoring in Criminal Justice who intends to pursue a career in law enforcement.
