James B. Motley, '59, and Juanita W. Motley Scholarship

In August of 2021, Mrs. Juanita W. Motley, announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the endowed James B. Motley, ’59, and Juanita W. Motley Scholarship and a companion non-endowed jump start fund. The primary purpose of the endowed James B. Motley, ’59, and Juanita W. Motley Scholarship is to provide funds to support cadets from South Carolina who are political science majors or are otherwise engaged in some way with the Center for Cyber, Intelligence, and Securities Studies. In years in which no South Carolina cadets meet the preferred academic criteria, the award shall be available to students who are political science majors or are otherwise engaged in some way with the Center for Cyber, Intelligence, and Securities Studies who are residents of Alabama, Florida, or Georgia.
