Richard O. Honeycutt, '20, Cybersecurity Scholarship

In February of 2023, Mr. Sheriff S. Bangura, ’20, announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the endowed Richard O. Honeycutt, ’20, Cybersecurity Scholarship. The primary purpose of the Richard O. Honeycutt, ’20, Cybersecurity Scholarship is to provide financial resources to support incoming freshman cadets who are pursuing a major within the field of cybersecurity. In years in which no incoming freshman cadet qualifies for the award, the scholarship shall be available to sophomore students pursuing a major within the field of cybersecurity. In years in which no cadets meet the first two preferences, the award shall be available to any cadet majoring in the field of cybersecurity regardless of academic year.
