Mr. James O. Rigney, Jr., '74, Electrical Engineering Scholarship

In March of 2022, Mrs. Harriet P. McDougal-Rigney announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the endowed Mr. James O. Rigney, Jr., ’74, Electrical Engineering Scholarship. The primary purpose of the Mr. James O. Rigney, Jr., ’74, Electrical Engineering Scholarship is to provide merit-based financial resources to support students, with first preference given to electrical engineering majors who are from the Lowcountry of South Carolina, to include the counties of Charleston, Berkeley, Dorchester. In years in which there are no qualified electrical engineering students who meet the geographic preference, the award shall be available to any electrical engineering student.
