Mr. Charles M. Watson, Jr., '58, Engineering Cadet Relief

In June of 2022, Mr. Charles M. Watson, Jr., ’58, announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the Mr. Charles M. Watson, Jr., ’58, Engineering Cadet Relief Endowment. The primary purpose of the Mr. Charles M. Watson, Jr., ’58, Engineering Cadet Relief Endowment is to provide financial resources to support junior or senior students within the School of Engineering, with first preference given to those who demonstrate a level of financial need such that they would be unable to continue their Citadel education without assistance. Recommendations for awards shall be made by the Dean of the School of Engineering in consultation with the Director of Financial Aid and Scholarships. The final decision regarding recipients of the awards and award disbursement shall be made by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships.
