COL David G. Tarbox, USA, Ret., '71, and Mrs. Barbara J. Tarbox Scholarship

In January of 2023, COL and Mrs. David G. Tarbox, USA, Ret., ’71, announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the endowed COL David G. Tarbox, USA, Ret., ’71, and Mrs. Barbara J. Tarbox Scholarship. The primary purpose of the COL David G. Tarbox, USA, Ret., ’71, and Mrs. Barbara J. Tarbox Scholarship is to provide financial resources to support cadets who have signed a contract with the United States Army, with first preference given to members of Band Company. In years in which no student meets the first cadet company preference, the scholarship shall be available to Army contract cadets who are in Bravo Company. In years in which no student meets the first two preferences for cadet companies, the scholarship shall be available to any cadet who has signed a contract with the United States Army, regardless of cadet company.
