Lizzie and Chris Clark, '85, Scholarship

In November of 2022, Mr. and Mrs. J. Christopher Clark, ‘85, announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the endowed Lizzie and Chris Clark, ’85, Scholarship. The primary purpose of the Lizzie and Chris Clark, ’85, Scholarship is to provide financial resources to support cadets who have demonstrated a high level of academic ability along with financial need, particularly cadets who are academically talented but from under-resourced households. First preference shall be given to cadets from the state of Georgia. In years in which no student enrolled meets the first geographic preference, the scholarship shall be available to any cadet who has a demonstrated high level of academic ability along with financial need. It is the donors’ desire that The Citadel also place emphasis on recruiting prospective students from the state of Georgia who have demonstrated a high level of academic ability. When possible, the recipient shall receive the award each of their four years of enrollment.
