COL Allison Dean Love, SCM, CGC '93, and Mr. Phillip E. Love, Jr., Scholarship

In March of 2023, COL Allison Dean Love, SCM, CGC ‘93, and Mr. Phillip E. Love, Jr., announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the endowed COL Allison Dean Love, SCM, CGC ’93, and Mr. Phillip E. Love, Jr., Scholarship. The primary purpose of the COL Allison Dean Love, SCM, CGC ’93, and Mr. Phillip E. Love, Jr., Scholarship is to provide financial resources to support students, from Middle Tennessee who are also natives of Tennessee, with first preference given to those from Maury County. In years in which no students meet the geographic preference for Middle Tennessee, the scholarship shall be available to any student from the state of Tennessee who is also a native of the state. The scholarship may be awarded to members of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets, students in the Evening Undergraduate program, or Citadel Graduate College students. The purpose of this merit-based fund is also to support the development of ethical leadership by providing an annual scholarship award to an outstanding prospective student who has demonstrated the qualities of leadership, academic achievement, and character that will enable them to excel in The Citadel’s unique military environment.
