Robert and Nena Schivera Scholarship

In June of 2022, Mr. Robert W. Schivera, ’69, announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the endowed Robert and Nena Schivera Scholarship. The primary purpose of the Robert and Nena Schivera Scholarship is to provide financial resources to support individuals attending The Citadel as members of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets who are nonresidents of South Carolina and lineal descendants of graduates of The Citadel, with preference given to male descendants. The donor requests that his preference of a male recipient be honored, nevertheless, scholarships may be awarded at the sole discretion of The Citadel without the requested restriction. Recipients shall be selected by the Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships according to uniform procedures established from time to time by The Citadel.
