Williford Family Scholarship

In May of 2023, LTC William S. Williford, III, USA, ’84, announced to The Citadel Foundation the intent to establish the endowed Williford Family Scholarship. The primary purpose of the Williford Family Scholarship is to provide financial resources to support cadets from Columbus County, North Carolina, or Nelson County, Virginia. In years in which no student meets the geographic criteria, the scholarship shall be available to cadets who are members of the Regimental Band. In years in which there are no students who meet the first two criteria preferences, the award shall be available to cadets who are majoring in business.
