Richard Eugene Rentz, '63, Memorial Scholarship

In August of 2023, LTC Hubert M. Rentz, USAR, Ret., ’70, announced to The Citadel Foundation the intent to establish the endowed Richard Eugene Rentz, ’63, Memorial Scholarship. The primary purpose of the Richard Eugene Rentz, ’63, Memorial Scholarship is to provide financial resources to support female students, both cadets and graduate students, in the Zucker Family School of Education or the Swain Family School of Science and Mathematics who are pursuing a degree in education or pre-health (pre-med, nursing, or health and human performance), with consideration given to financial need. In years in which no female student qualifies to receive the award, the scholarship may be awarded to male cadets or graduate students who are pursuing a degree in education or pre-health (pre-med, nursing, or health and human performance).
