Dudley Saleeby, Jr., '66, and Class of 1966 Scholarship

In December of 2022, Mrs. Lalla Saleeby; Mr. Wilson D. Saleeby, ’02; and Mrs. Catherine Saleeby McDowell announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the endowed Dudley Saleeby, Jr., ’66, and Class of 1966 Scholarship. The primary purpose of the Dudley Saleeby, Jr., ’66, and Class of 1966 Scholarship is to provide financial resources to cadets, with first preference given to residents of Dillon and Florence Counties in South Carolina, with consideration given to financial need. In years in which no student meets these geographic preferences, the scholarship shall be available to cadets from the state of South Carolina. Additionally, in years in which a direct descendant or relative of Mr. Saleeby is enrolled, preference shall be given to that student, presuming that he or she meets the other criteria for consideration.
