Dr. and Mrs. James D. Bearden, III, '65, Pre-Health Scholarship

The purpose of the Dr. and Mrs. James D. Bearden, III, ‘65, Pre-Health Scholarship fund is to provide financial resources to students who are planning to pursue a career as either a medical doctor or a nurse regardless of their major, with consideration given to financial need. In years in which no students qualify based on the above criteria, the award shall be available to students who plan on pursuing careers in the medical field but who will not be a medical doctor or a nurse, ie. physical therapist, physician’s assistant, etc. The award shall be available to cadets and evening undergraduate students.
