Ruth M. and Raymond C. Reiss, '75, Mathematics and Computer Science Scholarship
In November of 2023, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond C. Reiss, ’75, announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the endowed Ruth M. and Raymond C. Reiss, ’75, Mathematics and Computer Science Scholarship. The primary purpose of the Ruth M. and Raymond C. Reiss, ’75, Mathematics and Computer Science Scholarship is to provide funds to support out-of-state students, with a first preference given to freshman students who are majoring in mathematics; a second preference given to freshman students majoring in computer science or cyber operations. In years in which no students meet the first or second preference, the scholarship shall be available to out-of-state sophomore students who are majoring or intending to major in mathematics or computer science or cyber operations. Eligible students shall have a minimum high school GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0, or a college GPA of 3.0, and be a United States citizen.
