BG Miller L. Love, Jr., P.E., F.ASCE, F.ACEC., F.SAME, USAR Ret., '62, Scholarship

In March of 2024, BG Miller L. Love, Jr., P.E., USAR, Ret., ’62, announced to The Citadel Foundation the intention to establish the endowed BG Miller L. Love, Jr., P.E., F.ASCE, F.ACEC., F.SAME, USAR Ret., ’62, Scholarship. The primary purpose of the BG Miller L. Love, Jr., P.E., F.ASCE, F.ACEC., F.SAME, USAR Ret., ’62, Scholarship is to provide financial resources to junior and senior cadets from Florence County, South Carolina, who are majoring in civil engineering, with consideration given to financial need. In years in which no student meets the first geographical preference, the scholarship shall be available to junior and senior cadets from the Pee Dee region of South Carolina, who are majoring in civil engineering. In years in which no students are identified who meet either of the above geographic criteria, the award shall be returned to the endowment.
